Howwl
Coming soon on Howwl
There's a number of new features coming to Howwl over the next few weeks/months.

The API. This will be a full API offering almost complete functionality. We aim to have this completed in around eight to ten weeks.

The Embed widget. In addition to the simple widget already available, there'll be a widget to embed any conversation into your site or blog. This should be available soon.

Howwl Mobile. This is coming after the API goes live.

Are they going to be late? I get that feeling.

Yup. The first methods will be coming soon, but probably not this week. It's important to get this stuff right.

Ok, slim. I guess it should be right before it goes public. If you need a beta tester before then I'm happy to put myself forward.

I won't be having a closed beta, but thanks. It looks like the first methods will be up in a week or so. Really.

And the embed widget is finally up. The code to embed a conversation can be found on each Say.

For an example, see http://howwl.com/widgets/embed/.

The widget seems to work very well. I would like to be able to change the border colour though.

At the moment it's border or no border (as you're probably aware) but it could include a colour value.

You don't sound wildly confident of that. :)

The embed widget sounds like what I was looking for from the API. Nice one.

I'm looking at how YouTube embed videos and aiming to do something similar. I hope it gives you what you want, and if not, you'll be able to do it with the API. :-)

Not a problem, as I like playing with APIs. :)

Each to his own. :-)

Hopefully the embed widget will spare you that rather dubious pleasure.
